Aqua Air Ready for Underwater Intervention 2016 - Friday, February 19, 2016
Aqua-Air Industries is proud to announce its participation at Underwater Intervention 2016, at Morial Convention Center in New Orleans Feb. 23-25. 


Representing Aqua Air at the event will be Stacy Cruze, executive vice president of Aqua Air; Dennis Renear, vice president of the saturation diving systems division; and Roy Fiegenschue, sales manager.


"Aqua-Air Industries, Inc. has been an exhibitor at the Underwater Intervention trade show from day one," Renear said. "The show will present networking opportunities with our clients and specific vendors.  AAI will showcase its most recent delivered 10-Man Saturation Diving System and its newly designed Hyperbaric Reception Facility (HRF)."


He added that Aqua Air will attend the following ADCI meetings:
  • Gulf Coast Chapter
  • Engineering Diving Committee
  • Saturation Diving Committee
  • Gulf of Mexico Diving Safety Work Group

Renear said going to these conferences helps his team get current information on diving activities, safety issues on equipment, and pending rule changes.


The Underwater Intervention Conference is a joint effort by the Marine Technology Society's Remotely Operated Vehicle Committee and the Association of Diving Contractors International. It is held annually in January or February and is the world's premier event for commercial diving contractors, remotely operated vehicles, manned submersibles and all other aspects of the underwater operations industry. 


The meeting has multi-tract papers, workshops, tutorials and social events. Aqua-Air will be exhibiting at booth number 305.


The conference attracts diverse marine industries, including offshore oil and gas, marine construction, shipwreck exploration, ocean mining and marine salvage. Presentation tracks include:

  • Cable
  • Remote Intervention
  • Commercial Diving
  • Shipwreck Salvage

Each year UI brings together professionals from all aspects of the underwater operations industry, including ROVs, commercial diving contractors and manned submersibles.


In addition to the 10-man Saturation diving system, the Aqua-Air team will be showing off its other commercial diving equipment, including:

  • Chambers and compressors
  • Hot water systems
  • Helmets and Mask
  • LARS, class II bells and power units
  • Air/gas consoles 
  • Umbilicals and volume tanks 
  • Burning packages  
  • Underwater video systems
